The Pumpkin Post Change

Changes to The Pumpkin Post Newsletter

If you are subscribed to The Pumpkin Post Newsletter you should have seen the recent email about it in your inbox linking to this post.

The main point is I’m going to stop producing that, and instead use that email list for important announcements, requests for pumpkins, new broken records etc.

There are a couple of reasons for this change:

  • It takes a lot of work to cobble together a newsletter and I feel my time could be spent better doing other things with the website or blog posts
  • It only goes out to a small number of people
  • There is no point in trying to reinvent the wheel, especially when the GPC now produce their very own FREE newsletter.

You are more than welcome to unsubscribe from that list if you want.

I will however be continuing to update the How To section of the website, and will continually be posting blog posts about how my season is going, what’s happening in the giant pumpkin world here in NZ, and other bits and pieces.

If you’d like to get emailed when there is a new blog post out, well you can do that at the bottom of this page.

In the future I’ll be doing a review over each edition of the GPC Common Ground Newsletter, the summer edition is out now and is perfect reading for us in the Southern Hemisphere when we start our season.

Thanks to everyone that has signed up to The Pumpkin Post in the past. Hope your upcoming season goes well.

As always if you have a burning question please get in touch.
