I was asked for the second year to judge at the Te Kowhai School Harvest Festival. Last years photos can be found here.
It was a great event and there were a lot of pumpkins, it seems a lot more people were growing this year than previous years which is awesome to see.
School events always have awesome games and things for the kids to do, and I am always impressed by the new ones each event seems to have. I will be putting together a list of all of these to send out to all the people that have the How to Run a Pumpkin Event to give them ideas for their next event.
All the photos can be found over on the photos page under 2016 events.
My last pumpkin event for the year will the Little River Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Festival in a couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for an update from that.
Thanks for checking out this post! I’ve been growing giant pumpkins for over 15 years, mostly in small spaces.
