YOU DO NOT NEED TO GROW A PUMPKIN TO JOIN IN THE FUN ON GREAT PUMPKIN CARNIVAL DAY ANYONE can enter the COOKING COMPETITIONS, the best NAMED PUMPKIN CREATION, the BEST CARVED PUMPKIN, and bring ANY PUMPKIN FOR THE DOWNHILL ROLL
The TWO NEW CATEGORIES for 2011 are:
• Best miniature pumpkin (Seeds:Kings Seeds OR Hamilton Gardens info centre)
• Heaviest pumpkin over 200kg
YES – WE HAVE THE HIAB AND THE CATTLE SCALES ORGANIZED READY FOR THOSE REALLY BIG ONES THAT WE KNOW ARE BEING GROWN OUT THERE.
Other NEW COMPETITIONS ESPECIALLY FOR RECYCLED TEENAGERS/retirement villages are:
• Best poem about pumpkins
• Decorated sunhats
• Making something useful out of something useless
These need to be delivered to the Hamilton Gardens Information Centre by 5pm on Thursday, 17th March. Please attach name, name of Village, and phone number.
