Having started the seeds, which can be seen in the last post, and with all the pictures and stuff on the how to page it is now time to get those seeds into pots
As stated in the how to, very professional growers will keep their pots at a perfect temperature under lights. In general as long as you keep them inside at this stage and have them in a warm environment, making sure they don’t dry out you should be fine.
Also, make sure rats/mice don’t get to them, after filming this video, I found out this morning something had eaten all my seeds, as I had left them in the shed. Luckily I have a whole bunch of other seeds I replanted today, and they are now safely inside.
This makes me wonder how many were eaten last year when I was was having trouble with them growing, it might have actually been some sort of animal doing the damage.
The next stage after the seedlings have developed will be the transplanting to outside, and I have some special stuff turning up this week to help with the organic way of growing giant pumpkins, so make sure to keep checking back to see the video and post on that.
