If you are reading this I hope you are well, whenever or wherever you may be.
I seem to have been distracted the past couple of weeks, and the planned posts I had wanted to write will have to wait for another day.
Think of this blog post as a little tiny announcement and a way for me to keep up my blog posting schedule which was going very well for me.

WORLD RECORD GIANT PUMPKIN GROWER
Harder than Ever?
Is it harder than ever to grow a giant pumpkin that will break a world record? I’m not sure. I think throughout time there has always been this constant push to get bigger and heavier.
It’s not until everything works in alignment do we see a new record.
This whole Covid-19 situation won’t be helping matters, with a lot of Northern Hemisphere weigh off sites already canceling their events.
Check out the Past Record Holders
I did however find time to put together a list of past record holders of giant pumpkins and I think it turned out quite good.

I personally hate converting between pounds and kg. I only know what some of them are off the top of my head, so I made sure the list has both lbs and kg.
Can’t wait to see some new records added to this list, hopefully soon.
And I stick with what I have said in the past, I really do think a new world record can come out of here in New Zealand, or dare I say it out neighbours Australia. Someone in the Southern Hemisphere is going to break it.
