The soil test results have come back from the mighty fine people at Hills Laboratories and it feels a little bit like this.
And here is the soil test

What it all means
Well I’m still trying to decipher all of it, but it is fair to say the soil isn’t as good as it could be and I think I was quite lucky to grow a 184.5kg pumpkin in the soil as it was last season.
What it does mean though is I have a starting point in knowing how the soil is. I can now try and improve it to make it a more optimum growing condition for giant pumpkins.
I’ll be going over what I will be doing at a later date, but would love your feedback on these results, let me know what you think in the comments below.

Growing giant pumpkins is a passion that I love sharing. 🎃 If you’ve found my content helpful or entertaining, why not say thanks with a coffee? ☕
It’ll fuel my next giant pumpkin adventure!
